Cancellations happen - I get it. I ask you try your best to provide 24 hours notice for cancelling an appointment.

Session cancelled within the 24 hour period will be charged 50% of the fee.

In the event of a no show, 100% of the fee will be charged.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session will be cancelled, charged and rescheduled.

If there is an emergency, please contact to see if the fee can be waived.

All sessions are private and confidential. Information you share is collected and stored with strict adherence to Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). All information is held unless released with consent authorized by you, the client.

There are certain situations I am required by law to break confidentiality. These include:

• if there is any indication that a child/youth is at risk from any form of risk, abuse and/or neglect

• if there is indication the client is at serious risk of harm to themselves, or to someone else

• if there is information requested by a court of law

• if there is an situation where emergency services are needed (provide demographic information only)

These will be discussed and reviewed in the initial session.

Unfortunately private social work counselling services are not covered by OHIP. Please check your health insurance/benefits plan to see if you are covered for MSWs (Master of Social Work) for counselling services.

I accept Non Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) and direct bill GreenShield.

Payment is due at the end of each session.

I currently accept cash, e-transfer, debit/credit (through online, auto-billing and terminal in office).
